AAPI Heritage Month Celebration

Join us for our second annual celebration

Saturday, May 20, 2023 on Summit's Village Green


The City of Summit is announcing the second annual Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month event will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023. The free event will take place from 3PM to 7PM on the Village Green, located at 356 Broad Street. All citizens are invited to attend to celebrate and learn about AAPI culture. 

The entertainment stage will feature performances from groups in different Asian communities - details TBA. See below for last years schedule.

The event will also include a Holi celebration and a ceremony to honor accomplishments of the AAPI community. 

Several community organizations will set up displays highlighting different aspects of AAPI culture to become involved please email David Guida at dguidajr@cityofsummit.org

  • These organization will provide heritage showcases, outdoor games, and other activities.
