Does the DCP offer financial assistance for any of its programs or activities?
Yes. Financial assistance may be available based on information from the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program. If your child is enrolled in this program, please provide the necessary paperwork (obtained at the Board of Education, 14 Beekman Terrace), in-person to the DCP. Once reviewed, a member of the DCP staff will assist with your registration at the reduced rate. One subsidized program is permitted per child, per season.

Are all abilities welcome to participate in the DCP's programs and activities?
Yes. The City of Summit invites and welcomes people of all abilities to its sites and facilities. Any questions about our services for people with disabilities can be directed to Judith L. Josephs, DCP Director at 908-277-2932.

When do I register for seasonal sports, such as soccer, basketball, or footbal?
Registration for seasonal sports will typically occur the season before. For example, registration for a winter sport such as basketball will occur in the fall.

Do I have to be a resident to sign up for programs and activities with the DCP?
No. We welcome both residents and non-residents to enroll in many of our programs. Resident restrictions may apply to some programs with the pool or golf course. Non-resident fees may also apply.

Does the DCP offer and free programs?
Yes.
The DCP offers a free, after school program every Monday through Friday from 3:00 - 4:30 PM during the school year.

Is there Adult Open Gym?
Yes.
