Assistance During COVID 19

GRACE needs you in order to be #SummitStrong!  This week and last GRACE served more than 500 families.  Each family who comes to GRACE receives a variety of food and household supplies. In this time of scarcity, we need your help in terms of donations and support. 

We are especially looking for cleaning supplies such as disinfectant spray, Clorox wipes, and hand sanitizer. Many people are in dire need of personal care items such as shampoo, soap, lotion, toothpaste, baby wipes, and size three through six diapers. For food we need dried beans in one pound bags, rice in one pound bags, pasta, canned tuna, salmon, chicken, and beef. We also accept fresh produce donations Sunday-Tuesday. Any of these items may be dropped off at the Summit Community Center Monday throguh Friday from 8:45 AM until 4:15 PM.

Weekly Volunteer Opportunities

Food Pickup

Monday & Saturday mornings at the Food Bank in Hillside to select and haul produce and dairy items to Summit, times vary but generally 7:30am - 10:30am.  Volunteers must be 18 and older and be out of high school.  Text Amanda at 917-517-3203 or email her at apb_nyc@hotmail.com if interested.

Food Setup

Tuesday mornings from 9am - 11am setting up the display in the Cornog Field House. Children are welcome. 

Food Distribution

Tuesday evenings from 6:15pm - 7:45pm food distribution at Cornog Field House. Volunteers must be 18 and older and be out of high school. Click here to sign up.

G.I.F.T. Booth @ Summit Farmers Market

Sundays from May 5 - November 17 from 11:30am - 1:30pm.  Volunteers will accept donations at the Gift It Fresh Today (GIFT) table at the Summit Farmers Market and deliver to GRACE’s Refrigerator at Christ Church.  Children are welcome.  Click here to sign up.
