COVID 19 UpdatesAmanda Block at GRACE

During the COVID 19 outbreak the walk up model will still be available. We highly reccomend driving to the Cornog Field House and pulling into the driveway for contact minimal pick up. Distribution will temporarily begin at 4:30 PM.

Additionally, shelf stable food will be offered during the outbreak.

The last two weeks have been historic. It is thanks to you, our community and supporters, that all 1,992 individuals from 511 households who came in need received fresh and shelf stable food. 


2020 Drop and Go Donations

Drop off at the Summit Community Center between 8:45 AM and 4:15 PM Monday through Friday and between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM on Saturday.

GRACE is looking for donations of: 

  • Toiletries: soap, shampoo, lotion, deodorant
  • Cleaning supplies: sanitizer, disinfectant, and Clorox wipes
  • One or two-pound packages of rice
  • Dried beans
  • and other Shelf Stable Food

What is GRACELiz with contactless delivery

GRACE stands for Giving and Receiving Assistance for our Community’s Essentials. Amanda Block is GRACE founder and coordinator. 

The hallmark program of GRACE is the GRACE Weekly Distribution of nutrient dense, fresh food. This distribution is held at the Cornog Field House, located at 5 Myrtle Avenue each Tuesday Night. The distribution begins at 6:30 PM each week. Most weeks feature a special educational opportunity or a special featured item for distribution. Check this webpage regularly for updates of the featured programs that will be offered. 

In May of 2019, when the new Community Center Opened The GRACE Annex opened. This refridgerator and freezer are stocked on a regualr basis and is a self selection model. The shopper must simply place their initials and size of family on the clipboard on thr counter between the refridgerator and freezer. The Annex is the perfect option fo Summit Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities.
